{"id":589,"date":"2022-05-17T11:55:09","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T11:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chichester-as.co.uk\/?page_id=589"},"modified":"2026-03-03T07:51:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T07:51:49","slug":"cdas-match-info","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/chichester-as.co.uk\/home.html\/cdas-match-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Match Info"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"et_pb_section_0 et_pb_section et_section_regular et_block_section preset--module--divi-section--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_row_0 et_pb_row et_block_row\"><div class=\"et_pb_column_0 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_0 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p> Sunday April 19th 2026 <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_1 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>MATCH INFO<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_row_1 et_pb_row et_block_row\"><div class=\"et_pb_column_1 et_pb_column et_pb_column_4_4 et-last-child et_block_column et_pb_css_mix_blend_mode_passthrough\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--default\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p><!--Dear Members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>For those who fish Long Lake, there are no more Tuesday evening matches using pegs 1-20<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>as set out in the match fixtures list at the back of your book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>This amendment takes place with immediate effect and for only Tuesday evening matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p><b>All other match dates and fixtures remain unchanged.<\/b>--><\/p>\n<p>The Club have a very active match fishing scene and take part in a variety of competitions throughout the season.<\/p>\n<p>There is a comprehensive range of club matches and are usually held on a Saturday or Sunday, although during the summer months matches are also held on Tuesday evenings.<\/p>\n<p>The majority of Club match's are held on Long Lake, however there are a few away venues scattered in amongst the fixture list!<\/p>\n<p>Upon joining the Society each member will be provided with dates and venues of the Society's competitions.(in the back of the membership book)<\/p>\n<p>All competitions are open to every member with the exception of team matches which may be restricted to a limited number in each team (in such an event the team will be selected by the Competition\/Match Organizer).<\/p>\n<p><!--The Society does hold Junior competitions which are restricted to Junior members only. Juniors can participate in all competitions, including team events if they have obtained sufficient points for consideration. Points will be awarded in relation to a member's position in a Society competition except where a competition clashes with a team match, ie 1st - 10points, 2nd - 9 points, 3rd - 8 points etc. 10th position and all competitors weighing in fish at the conclusion of the competition will receive 1 point.--><\/p>\n<p><b>A water which is notified in the<br \/><span>\u00a0Match Fixtures<\/span><br \/>as being used for a competition is barred to non-competitors<br \/>two hours before the competition.<\/b><span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"content-medium4\">\n<p>Any member none match angler can approach either<br \/><b>Kerry or Bruce<\/b><br \/>on the actual day of any given match to establish if there are sufficient empty swims to accommodate pleasure anglers without impacting on competitors.<br \/>The decision will rest entirely with the match organisers and all members must appreciate that on the dedicated match dates as outlined in Match Fixtures, there will occasions where the entire lake is required for the purposes of conducting the match for the entire time period required but wherever it is possible to do so, a section of the lake will remain open for pleasure anglers.<br \/>If pegs are available pleasure fishing can commence one hour<br \/>after the start of the match.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span>For any enquires regarding the matches please contact the<\/span><br \/><b>MATCH COORDINATORS<br \/>Kerry on 07954 177 416 \u2002 \u2002 Bruce on 07712 652 409<\/b><span><\/span><br \/><strong><u>Please note these numbers are for match info only<\/u><\/strong><br \/><!--\n\n\n<b>Club Competitions<\/b>\n\n\n<span>All members are invited to participate in competitions for the following trophies:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<div class=\"content-medium\" align=\"left\">\u2663 The Worley Cup\n\n\n\u2663 The Chamber of Commerce Cup\n\n\n\u2663 The Poole Cup\n\n\n\u2663 The '21' Cup\n\n\n\u2663 The Barbecue Shield\n\n\n\u2663 The M.
