IMPORTANT NEWS REGARDING KHV

You must not leave the car park area without first DIPPING your LANDING NET, UNHOOKING MAT and WEIGH SLINGS or CRADELS regardless of the fact you only fish Quarry Lane Complex or were here the day before.

You can leave the nets etc. in your vehicle, come back, and dip them before you start fishing. This way you would not have to carry them with the rest of your fishing tackle after dipping.

If you fail to comply with this instruction, you run the risk of closure of Quarry lane Complex due to a VIRUS attack. Any member reported not to have carried out these preventive measures (this also applies to their guest/guests) will have to explain their reasons to the committee.

The KHV virus is highly contageous and deadly to the carp species, and can typically kill 4 out of 5 fish it infects. If our fish stocks became infected the effects would be devastating as there is no known cure for this disease.

All members are to ensure that all nets, matts and slings are DIPPED when arriving on the complex. In the tanks provided.
